Our mission is to make people feel safe and secure and we pride ourselves on our commitment to and care for our customers, some of whom have been with us for over 40 years.

We aim is to provide cost-effective safety and security solutions for customers, together with an ongoing support ensuring peace-of-mind in knowing their insurance and legal compliance are taken care of. We will strive to implement a long-term relationship with our clients, based on safety, quality, timely service, and an anticipation of their needs. We aim to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, honesty, and fairness in our relationships with customers, suppliers and professional associates.

OUR TEAM

We’re really proud of our people here at Keybury. We’ve been in business since 1982 so it’s no surprise that together, team Keybury have totted up over 650 years of Keybury experience between us all.

Several of our people have been part of the team for a decade… or two – or even three. According to “indeed”, long standing employees have stronger expertise and knowledge as well as job security & stability… evidence shows they also often have lots of grey hair, a tendency for sarcasm and a coffee addiction.

We value our team and work with external providers as well as in house experts to provide training and development opportunities. We’ve been operating the Keybury Academy for twenty years, helping to train the engineers of tomorrow, whilst providing ongoing coaching and development for the whole team. We currently have two apprentice engineers on the team, as well as people who have retrained from other industries as the requirement for quality fire and security installers continues to increase.

OUR INDUSTRY APPROVALS

CHARITY AND SPONSORSHIP

At Keybury, we try to support charities and local community events and groups as much as we can. We would love to be able to support every charity request that comes our way however we have a longstanding commitment to supporting our local Sue Ryder Hospice, Manorlands, who we fund raise for each year. As well as sponsoring Sue Ryder events, our team take part in regular charity challenges from in house games to cycling the Leeds to Liverpool canal to climbing mountains.

At Keybury Fire and Security, we acknowledge that our operations have an effect on the environment and have identified our key environmental aspects that contribute to our environmental and carbon footprint.

Keybury Fire and Security is committed to reducing it’s environmental impact through improved awareness across the business and continuous improvement in our business practices. We have sustained this improvement throughout our 40 year history.  In 2022, Keybury committed to further improvements through the Investors in the Environment accreditation scheme and appointing a green team and sustainability champion. Our top management’s continued commitment to the environment has meant investment in solar panels and fuel-efficient vehicles. Our business is strengthened by protecting the safety, health and environment of our employees, our customers, and the people of the communities in which we do business.

OUR HISTORY

Back in 1982, Frank and Patricia realised that national security companies offered an impersonal service, so with Frank’s industry experience and Patricia’s admin skills they set out to pursue the dream of building a successful local customer centred security business. Forty odd years, 50 staff members and over 20,000 customers later; boy have they achieved it! Of course growing up with business at the dinner table and weekends in the office, it’s little wonder that Frank and Patricia’s daughters are amongst the 50 locals who now form team Keybury.
The business soon outgrew the living room and then our first premises on Low Mill Lane. By 2014 we had outgrown our most well-known location on Skipton Road.

Today you’ll still find us in our home town of Keighley – just off Marley roundabout in our solar powered HQ. We’re still offering a customer centred service – big enough to be able to handle any size of project and uninterrupted service but small enough to care about each customer.
